Mabuhay! I'm Jay, an American "gentleman" living in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines: Cebu, to be specific. I've lived here with my (Cebuana) wife and our several animals for four years now.
When we were first married my wife wasn't much of a cook. I was, but mainly American, Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern and Hungarian cuisines. So we both learned how to cook Filipino dishes together. We're both pretty good cooks now, if I do say so myself!
